MrJeff2000 Explains It All It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad, um what was I talking about again?

I figured out that I've driven 7 cars regularly over the past 36 years of being a licensed driver.

And they have all been made by two manufacturers!

The MTA just enacted another fare hike.

There was immediate, understandable protest.

But this is a broken record and an indefensible system.

Nothing excites weather people more than a "weather event."

And a big one was expected this past week.

In some ways, it disappointed. In others, not as much.

I picked up 1,400 books this week to sell in December as part of my temple's annual Bazaar.

The book sale routinely gathers collectors and dealers who spend three days going through beteween 20,000 and 40,000 books.

With my involvement, the organizers are hoping to get closer to 40,000. And if they continue to work me like the past few weeks, they might just reach that goal.

The CitiBike program is expanding into upper Manhattan and areas of Brooklyn.

Staten Island feels ignored, but then again, it wouldn't be Staten Island otherwise.

The 2nd Avenue Subway expansion (part one) has attracted riders. But will it ever get to Part 2?

Finally, board games are making a comeback in the Digital Age.

President-Elect Donald Trump is not having an easy time.

Well, who knows what he expected. But it's no cakewalk.

And the band of family and sycophants that have been surrounding him are in-fighting like cats and dogs, desperately scratching to profit and remain in the mix.

Who loses? That's obvious – the American citizen, who voted for him or for any candidate. As well as the 48 percent of the American public that chose NOT to vote this year.

It sounds like a broken record but it's more indicative of a broken political system.

Donald Trump is losing the Presidential race. But to listen to him and his surrogates, he is in the lead and Hillary Clinton is doing everything underhanded to steal the election from him.

Newt Gingrich, Chris Christie, and Rudy Giuliani, the Three Stooges of the Apocalypse, will say any reprehensible thing because they crave power. Power that the next President of the United States could bequeath to them.

Luckily, at this rate, it won't be Donald Trump.

As much as I hate to talk about Donald Trump, the man provides endless material every time he opens his hateful mouth.

In the past week, a number of ridiculous claims were made that were simply swept under the rug, as if the general populace has heard enough and doesn't need to know about the latest batch of nonsense.

Meanwhile, his opponent got pneumonia and was a little shaky after the 9/11 Memorial. That became the big story. Not Trump using other people's money through his foundation to buy a six-foot-tall painting of himself. Not running mate Mike Pence refusing to denounce racist David Duke because "he's not in the name-calling business." Not Trump once again refusing to release his taxes.

The absurdity continues as Election Day draws nearer.
