MrJeff2000 Explains It All It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad, um what was I talking about again?

I figured out that I've driven 7 cars regularly over the past 36 years of being a licensed driver.

Back in the day.... there were video stores. Quentin Tarantino worked in one.

Then Blockbuster Video came and wrecked that business model (not to mention the basis for one of my film scripts).

What happened next was the advent of Netflix and film mailers. Which ultimately became a venue for video streaming services.

The goal is the same: Charge people to watch product on a device. The technology is what has evolved and changed the industry.

Happy 250th podcast!

This week, I put a brake on the politics and tell two quick stupid crime stories about idiots and their motor vehicles.

Rather than more election news, I turn to the annals of stupid true crime.

I give you the ongoing trial of Glenn Terry, arrested for the attempted kidnapping of his former attorney, Frank Tinari.

Why would be try to kidnap his former attorney?
How did he get caught?
Why do I think he is a stupid would-be criminal?

Patience, my friends, patience!

My standing workstation is two cardboard boxes.

I've been using my office chair for 16+ years and it no longer rises, yet I have yet to request a replacement.

The chair before that was broken, but I avoided trashing it by simply not leaning backwards until building services forcibly removed it from my office.

In other words, health in the workplace was not one of my primary concerns until this year.

About 10 years ago, I fractured my pinkie toe.

About three weeks ago, I fractured my pinkie finger (I think).

Also, thoughts about a home service company that refuses to stop calling, even after their services are no longer relevant.
