MrJeff2000 Explains It All It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad, um what was I talking about again?

There were a full three pages of news about New York's Metropolitan Transit Authority today. So much information, in fact, that I could only talk about the first two pages.

My older son graduated from high school last week.

Due to terminology and the Department of Education, I have to say he is "transitioning," not graduating.

But the future looks bright, after some up and down spots.

One of my older son's classmates was lost for 13 hours last week.

Not a good experience.

For anyone.

But especially not someone with special needs.

My kids are getting ready for their summer programs.

For my younger son, that meant investigating a bunch of new camp options this spring.

Sometimes the act of volunteering becomes a chore.

Sometimes doing someone a favor means doing them more than a favor.

Sometimes a book pickup becomes a chore and more than a favor.

All good things come to an end.

Here is the fourth and final part of my trek to Denver.

It's on to the actual bat mitzvah itself, and some of the aftermath on Sunday morning. One more episode to go!

I can now tell you, having recorded the third portion that follows this installment, that my Denver saga will run across FOUR podcasts. Yes, I will talk for TWO HOURS about events that happened over a 48-hour period. So bear with me!

Traveled to Denver last weekend for a bat mitzvah.

Bunch of little interconnected things that happened, which can only happen when so many family converge on one site.

Apologies for the audio early on; I restarted my computer and fixed the sound.

For Presidents' Week vacation (otherwise known as February vacation), I packed a bunch of activities into a short span. So many that I had to call up my phone calendar to go back and recount half of them.
