MrJeff2000 Explains It All It’s a mad, mad, mad, mad, um what was I talking about again?

My younger son might have made a friend at the swim club this week.

Maybe.

My older son graduated from high school last week.

Due to terminology and the Department of Education, I have to say he is "transitioning," not graduating.

But the future looks bright, after some up and down spots.

One of my older son's classmates was lost for 13 hours last week.

Not a good experience.

For anyone.

But especially not someone with special needs.

My kids are getting ready for their summer programs.

For my younger son, that meant investigating a bunch of new camp options this spring.

I'm a much more experienced home cook then I used to be.

However I can still make the occasional "rookie" mistake.

Stick around and find out what it was.

All good things come to an end.

Here is the fourth and final part of my trek to Denver.

I can now tell you, having recorded the third portion that follows this installment, that my Denver saga will run across FOUR podcasts. Yes, I will talk for TWO HOURS about events that happened over a 48-hour period. So bear with me!

Traveled to Denver last weekend for a bat mitzvah.

Bunch of little interconnected things that happened, which can only happen when so many family converge on one site.

Apologies for the audio early on; I restarted my computer and fixed the sound.

This week I get a little testy talking about the NYC Department of Education.

But it's also about Betsy DeVos, her inexperience, and the criminals appointed to national positions of public interest by this corrupt administration.

Enjoy!

The flu swept through my kids this past week but I managed to avoid it.

A rare victory for the end of the winter cold and flu season.
